We’re Ziad and Awais.
We’re independent Futures traders who look at trading in a different way than most of the educators and gurus that you’ll find out there. Unlike most in this industry, we won’t tell you what you want to hear; we’ll tell you what you need to know. And you’ll see it from the eyes of real traders. We don’t claim to know everything, but we’ve been around the block enough times to know what actually makes money and how trading should be approached. We’ll always be students of the markets.
What is this blog all about?
These are our main beliefs about trading, and everything we write, teach, and train has to do with these 3 points:
1. Active trading is a performance discipline. It’s a mental sport. It requires rigorous skill development and continuous practice.
2. Trading is NOT simple and easy. Psychology is important, but it’s NOT everything. Trading is based on simple principles, but actually having a sustainable edge in the markets requires complex contextual understanding.
3. Trading can be much more than just about making money. Approached correctly, it can serve as one of the most powerful self-development tools that improves your whole life.
What will this blog do for you?
We created this blog to fill a gap. A gap between what the independent retail trader is taught and what the professionals actually think and do. A lot of what’s out there passing for good trading education is good only for the pocketbooks of those selling it. But if you’re a trader who is serious and committed about making it, then you’ve come to the right place. Our mission is: To help serious traders achieve their full financial and personal potential.
It’s our sincere hope that what we share on this blog helps you in your trading journey, and saves you some of the dead-ends and heartaches that we’ve experienced. If we teach you real skills, inspire you, and push you to reach further than you thought possible, we’ve done our jobs. Achieving all you want and the life of your dreams as a trader is possible. Now let’s get to work.
